The novel Iliad is written by Homer. This story is the greatest war novel written. Iliad is really all about the Trojan War, The novel shows the war between Achaeans and Trojans. Achilles is one of the Achaeans. He is a great warrior he is feared by all men even his own soldiers because of his great skills in combat. King Agamamemnon is also a Achaeans.  He is the the reason why Achilles did not go to the war because King Agamamemnon quarell with Achilles. That's why Achaeans lose because of their quarell and also they lost many live in the battle. Achilles is the  great weapon of the Achaeans because of his bravery and strenght also his skills in a war or combat...

If King Agamemnon doesn't quarell with Achilles the Achaens could finish the war early because of Achilles. Because of the stubborness of King Agamemnon, the Trojan war beacame in favor of the Trojans. Without Achilles in the battle because of the quarell, Trojans take the advantge the lost of Achilles in the side of the Achaeans to finish and win the the battle or war against the Achaeans. This part of the novel has a big effect in the story because if they work together as a team they can win the war but because of the stubborness of King Agamemnon the story became in favor of the Trojans.

Teamwork is needed to be succesfull in a particular goal. In the story greediness is shown in the story. They want to became famous because of the wealth. In the story King Agamemnon he did not thought that making Achilles angry is a negative effect for the Achaeans because of the fight between them Achilles decided not to go the battle. that's why the wealth and the men of the Achaeans are losing and the wealth are not being use because they are losing because of the mistake of King Agamemnon to quarell Achilles because they can really win the battle on time and not losing much men in the war..

The noble and a great warrior

Warriors or comrade are people like us but they fight for their honor and dignity and also for their country or love ones. In Iliad many warrior are sighted in the novel because it is a novel about war. They are called warriors because they fight in wars and many warriors died for it.

Patroclos is one of the warriors in the novel Iliad. He is a noble comrade and a great warrior. I agreed with it because in the novel when Achilles did not join the war he decided that his the one who will wear the armor of Achilles  to defend the ship from the Trojans. He decide it with all his heart the he knows he will die but still he purse it for his concern to his fellow warriors and this is his duties to risk his life and fight for the good of the ship. The bravery of Patroclos and the leadership on his own they lead his warrior and let the Trojans retreat because they thought that the one wearing the armor is Achilles. He is a great warrior because he attacked and killed the Trojans that were trap in honor of his name and country. Even thought Patroclos is a noble and great warrior , no warrior can escape dead because when he wound Sarpedon. Zeus decided to kill Patroclos by the use of Hector for slaying Sarpedon on the battle that’s lead to the death of Patroclos.

For me even a warrior died it is a still great honor to serve to you fellow countrymen to succeed in a battle like this. Patroclos is a noble comrade and a great warrior for me because he died for his country and duties. Also when he is in battle he still fights and serve his country until his last breath and his last drop of blood. And that’s why I agreed the Patroclos is really a great and noble warrior.

Who is the noble and honorable man

I think the nobler and greater and mostly the honorable man was Paris. Why? Because Paris sacrifice the trust of his brother and all his men by taking Helen out of Sparta causing war because of his love to Helen.Paris love Helen so much that no one could stop or break Paris love for Helen even it brings death or war for his family because of his true love for the girl. That moment Menelaus heard the news that his wife Helen went to troy with Paris that’s why he decided to go to troy and bring back his wife to him. They raised a fleet of one thousand ships and went to Troy to secure Helen's return.

When they reached troy Menelaus challenges Paris to a duel for Helen's return, so who ever wins gets Helen and no one could acclaim or challenge anymore what ever happens. Menelaus soundly beats Paris, but before he can kill him and claim victory Aphrodite spirits Paris away inside the walls of Troy. Still Paris did not sacrifice his love for Helen and give Helen to Menelaus after the fight that’s why it cost war to troy that’s how honorable and noble man is Paris he will not give up his love what ever happens to his family and to his life because of his love to Helen.

 

Even thought Paris is a noble and honorable man in the story iliad he is describe as unskilled and cowardly because of this he show his cowardly and unskilled by using a bow and arrow emphasizes this, even he does not follow the code of honor of the other heroes or gods, he is still the honorable and greater and noble man for me because he did not sacrifice the love for the girl that he really truly love. Also in this incident I further conclude that Paris was the nobler and greater and honorable man that I can imagine because of his love. Also in this instance Paris shows the love for Helen is not a joke he still fight even thought he is already down to his knees Paris and Menelaus duel in an attempt to end the war without further bloodshed. Menelaus easily defeats Paris, though Aphrodite spirits him away before Menelaus can finish the duel. Paris is returned to his bedchambers where Aphrodite forces Helen to be with him.

I can cite as a modern Paris only is me because even thought me and my girlfriend is far from each other I still fight my love for he and never give up in the trials and challenges in our relationship also even may parents put me down to not have a girlfriend yet I still insist because of my love for her I can get inspirations and knowledge how life will be better and to be more efficient in the life and to the future days. Also I can know what is more efficient in a relationship even my parents and any other person does not like who I want to be with is still know the one I love will never be out of my side because I know she loves me and I really love her so mush that’s why I can be the Paris of her life and even in the real life of my self.
